Key Duties & Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert with vCISO or CISO like experience who can contribute to the following: Customer Engagements, CIO/CISO conference speaking engagements, marketing material, mapping product and marketing to compliance requirements/priorities. Effectively communicate Darktrace tools and their impact.
The VP Cybersecurity Strategy assists customers in navigating the increasingly complex cybersecurity landscape, providing strategic direction, expertise, and leadership to protect against cyber threats and ensure the security of sensitive information and systems.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: Extensive experience in cybersecurity, with a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Influential Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and management capabilities to effectively lead cybersecurity strategy initiatives across teams.
• Business Acumen: Ability to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives and understand the organizations industry and regulatory environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex cybersecurity issues and help clients make strategic decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
• At least 15 years’ security experience.
• 3-5 years of experience as a vCISO/CISO or similar leadership role.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent may be preferred.
• Experience working for or with Enterprise and Strategic level companies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience dealing with complex multiproduct environments preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
