Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with company goals, focusing on innovation, growth, scalability, and quality.
- Drive the architectural design, including dependent services, service interactions, and policies
- Simplify and improve the cost/benefit of a function/service/architecture strategy
- Experience working with or managing DevOps and technical infrastructure disciplines
- Team Management: Build, lead, and optimize a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, address technical challenges, and ensure our solutions meet their requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, customer success, professional services and customer support teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and client expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our software solutions.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that our solutions adhere to relevant regulatory requirements (SOC2 Type 2) and industry standards, particularly those specific to government and public sector clients.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience as a senior engineering leader, preferably in a SaaS B2G environment.
- Strong background in software development, with expertise in modern programming languages, cloud technologies, and scalable architectures.
- Demonstrated experience in leading remote and global engineering teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Compensation:
- $215k-$250k annual salary
- Salary may be adjusted based on experience and geographic location
