About the Role
Reports to the COO as part of a Global Finance organization. The VP, Finance Operations Global Governance Lead will own an end-to-end key processes across functional silos, geographic and business unit boundaries and be responsible for the centralization of critical finance operations and processes and drive transformative and strategic objectives to drive growth.
What You'll Do
+ Assess current finance processes, procedures and systems to identify areas for optimization and standardization
+ Obtain a detailed understanding of all process and underlying transactions (i.e. how they are performed, where the levers are, how they can be improved)
+ Design and implement global end-to-end processes and procedures for critical finance processes and associated technologies
+ Develop and execute change management strategy that clearly describes complex issues and recommendations across processes, systems, and people
+ Oversee Policy, Process and Procedure Committee and establish process owners and associated RACI framework
+ Execute and lead change management activities across the Global Finance, and, when necessary, with Business Partners and Key Stakeholders

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 10+ years’ experience in public and/or private accounting, including at least 7+ years’ experience in progressively responsible management positions. A candidate will have experience that evidences their:

+ Ability to set a strategic agenda and create a vision for standardizing and centralizing key processes, that supports commercial growth and technology objectives
+ Ability to prioritize and coordinate objectives that will significantly create value and momentum across the enterprise
+ Ability to distill complex local/regional/LOB processes and reduce unnecessary complexities
+ Ability to advocate for behavior change, build consensus, and achieve alignment across various key stakeholder groups to develop and execute strategy
+ Authoritative, transformative and charismatic leadership style
+ High degree of process, commercial and functional knowledge
