The Vice President (VP) of Flywheel Services will be responsible for building and leading the Flywheel Services organization, focusing on driving robotics transformation for our clients. This role is located at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters, Seattle office, or remotely within the US.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the overall strategy for the Flywheel Services organization.
- Identify and establish key practice areas within the Flywheel Services to address diverse client needs.
- Lead the development of innovative service offerings to enhance client ROI and success rates.
- Manage day-to-day operations within the professional services organization, including resource allocation, project staffing, and workflow optimization.
Organizational Development:
- Build and manage a high-performing team of professionals, including robotics engineers, consultants, and project managers.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture that promotes continuous learning and professional growth.
- Establish robust processes and frameworks to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery.
Client Engagement and Success:
- Oversee client engagements from initial assessment through full-scale deployment.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Develop strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and driving satisfaction.
Risk Management and Optimization:
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues in large-scale robotics deployments.
- Continuously monitor and optimize service delivery processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive initiatives to achieve early wins for clients, accelerating their journey towards digital transformation.
Business Growth:
- Identify market opportunities and drive business development efforts to expand the Flywheel Services portfolio.
- Drive the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and support business growth. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote Flywheel Services and attract new clients.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, and at least 15 years of professional experience.
- Consulting experience, specifically having managed PNL of a professional services business.
- Strong understanding of and experience in operational transformation and automation technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on client success and business growth.
- Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team.
- Willing to travel on average 50% of the time.
- Must have and maintain US work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the robotics, automation, or related industry.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
