About the Job
The VP of Growth and Commercial Strategy will be a key leader within Omnicell’s Growth
leadership team. This individual will develop and execute the commercial strategy for Omnicell’s
high-growth business segments, particularly within the Outpatient Managed Services
portfolio. This role will align critical growth initiatives with Omnicell’s broader strategic
objectives, foster cross-functional collaboration, and deliver measurable outcomes that support
Omnicell’s ambitious growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
+ Analyze Omnicell’s market position to drive a winning commercial strategy forOutpatient Managed Services (OSPS). This involves using data-driven insights toshape long-term business outcomes.
+ Lead the development and execution of integrated go-to-market strategies thatensure successful market penetration and scale-up of OSPS and adjacentmanaged services. Align efforts with organizational objectives for growth.
+ Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the growthteam, aligning key stakeholders across departments and ensuring progresstoward shared goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to establish scalableprocesses and support the growth and management of the OSPS portfolio. Buildstrong partnerships across the organization to drive key initiatives.
+ Champion operational efficiency and the adoption of best practices acrossfunctions, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of cross-departmentalinitiatives that support Omnicell’s growth.
Operational Excellence:
+ Develop a robust management framework, including governance and keyperformance indicators (KPIs), to ensure successful execution of growthstrategies.
+ Provide regular insights to senior leadership on progress, gaps, andopportunities for improvement.
+ Proactively identify and address capability gaps within the team, encouraging aculture of continuous improvement and operational excellence to meet andexceed growth targets.
Market Expansion and Innovation:
+ Identify new opportunities for market expansion, using data-driven insights andcompetitive intelligence to refine and adapt growth strategies. Lead the team inresponding to emerging trends and customer needs.
+ Create and implement strategic roadmaps for new business opportunities,driving innovation in managed services while focusing oncustomer value.
Leadership and Talent Development:
+ Inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams by fostering a culture ofaccountability, collaboration, and innovation. Empower team members to owntheir initiatives and align their efforts with Omnicell’s growth objectives.
+ Promote a growth mindset throughout the organization, encouraging resilienceand adaptability in the face of challenges. Lead through change and empowerteams to embrace continuous learning and development.
Qualifications
+ 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, growth leadership, or related roles,preferably within the healthcare, or specialty pharmacy services industry.
+ Proven track record of driving growth in high-growth businesses and deliveringsuccessful go-to-market strategies.
+ Expertise in cross-functional leadership, with the ability to collaborate effectively acrossSales, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
+ Strong program management skills, with experience developing and trackingperformance metrics and KPIs.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability toinfluence senior leaders and drive alignment across the organization.
+ MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
