About the team:
Be a part of the team that is responsible for shaping our technology strategy, driving innovation, and leading cross-functional technical teams.
What you will be doing:
You will report directly to the CIO. This strategic position focuses on ensuring that the organization programs and business management is being run smoothly and effectively. Being effective in this role requires a natural aptitude for building strong, trusting partnerships across the organization. The role will be expected to communicate changes in prioritization and decision-making efficiently and be capable of prioritizing and carrying out multiple projects for CIO and CTO. Build employee engagement through dedicated engagement agenda. Close partnership with finance to monitoring annual forecast, staffing, operational key performance indicators. Accountable for Governance and End of Life management.
• Administers organization policies through subordinate managers and directs and coordinates activities of more than one department/function.
• Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the organization.
What you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Twelve or more years of experience in software development or other related IT discipline with at least seven years of leadership responsibility.
• Knowledge of mainframe technology, open systems hardware/software, Wide Area Network and infrastructure design
• Knowledge of management reporting, operational procedures and management information systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team-building, organization, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively and deal with highly complex, confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to work closely with executive management to provide essential information, make recommendations and affect change
• Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
• Proven project management skills

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $192,430.00 - $323,300.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
