Position Overview:
The Vice President of Marketing Execution and Channel Marketing at FXI, Inc. will be a pivotal role in shaping our marketing materials and execution across key retail and OEM channels. This individual will leverage their expertise in the bedding industry ideally and deep relationships with key retailers to develop and implement impactful marketing strategies that drive growth and strengthen our brand.
Responsibilities:- Product Development Partner: Work with Product Marketing team to execute comprehensive marketing assets that align with FXI’s business objectives, focusing on both marketing execution and channel-specific strategies. This will include, but is not limited to, packaging development, online content, product detail pages, social media engagement and more. Taking brand direction from the Product Marketing team, this role will lead the team of execution professionals that will bring the brand vision to life.
- Channel Management: Oversee and optimize channel marketing efforts in partnership with Commercial Leads to develop and enhance Promotional Strategy, New Product Launch commercialization, In-Store Merchandising Strategy, PIM set-up, Digital Activation, and Customer Strategy
- Retailer Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with key retailers, collaborating on joint marketing initiatives and ensuring alignment with their retail strategies and expectations.
- Campaign Execution: Lead the design and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and in-store promotions, ensuring they are on-brand and resonate with our target audience.
- Market Analysis Partnership: Participate with Insights team on in-depth analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and tracking ROI for all marketing initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on performance data.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in marketing, with significant expertise in marketing execution and channel marketing within the bedding industry or a related sector. Experience working with key retailers is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with a track record of managing and developing marketing professionals.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
- Creativity: Innovative thinker with a passion for developing creative marketing solutions and a keen attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Travel: 30% or less
