Position Summary:
The Vice President Marketing Partnerships is responsible for cultivating relationships that bring exposure to artists and drive ticket sales. Working in tandem and communicating with our Global Partnerships team, the Vice President Marketing Partnerships will identify, approve of and control the companies and social media influencers/partners that can market AEG Presents' suite of concerts, tours, and festivals, and how to collaborate with those social media influencers/partners in new and exciting ways.
Essential Functions:
- Communicates, builds and cultivates relationships with senior leadership at potential and current clients, extending said relationships to various divisions (such as global touring) in order to market our tours in new and exciting ways.
- The VP will lead a highly skilled team responsible for the planning and implementation of account specific marketing initiatives, assign and oversee account managers responsible for building out marketing programs and manage team targets when reaching out to senior leadership at target companies to establish/maintain relationships necessary to market our content.
- Approves the preparation and oversight of B2B Marketing decks used to attract new social media influencers/partners and expand the reach of AEG Presents content
- Control the closing and execution of new deals. Collaborate with our ticketing company, our regions, venues, festivals and tours to create new marketing and ticketing deals that drive ticket conversions and ultimately increase sales for our shows.
- Report to the CDO weekly pipeline including status and timelines, documenting progress and showing milestones
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree (4-year)
- 10+ years of related work experience
- Knowledge of entertainment industry
- Extensive knowledge of brands, sales and sponsorships
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships.
- Ability to work long hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
- Excellent public speaking skills with experience presenting information to high level executives.
Pay Scale: $159,289-$251,132
