About the Job
The Vice President, Intelisys Marketing develops market strategies that position the company to achieve long term growth, while meeting annual revenue and profitability goals. Providing leadership for the development of strategic marketing plans that align with and support business goals, the Vice President, Intelisys Marketing partners with sales and other business leaders to ensure the best possible service, offerings and effective communications to customers and other key audiences.
The ideal candidate must be an accomplished, innovative, business leader who is both bold and creative in tackling the responsibilities associated with this position. The desired candidate must have 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams.
Essential Job Duties:
- Build and develop a world-class marketing management team capable of carrying out required marketing strategies
- Develop and implement a marketing plan that aligns with overall sales, customer engagement and brand development objectives
- Lead and develop talent of the Intelisys marketing team
- Monitor and prioritize marketing campaigns to ensure consistency of brand, allocate resources efficiently and drive desired outcomes
- Direct and oversee talent recruitment and development for their market and region
- Participate in strategic planning of the company's objectives
- Set measurable team goals and manage to desired results
- Work closely with leadership to understand customer engagement dynamics and identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Strategic Thinking/Learning Capacity
- Design and implement demand generation campaigns, processes, and systems capable of scale
- Develop and manage marketing budget to achieve desired financial goals
- Understand market dynamics and identify challenges and opportunities for growth
- Collaboration and Communication
- Ensure marketing campaigns/communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with sales and supplier leadership
- Work closely with corporate communications team to develop social and public relations strategies for Intelisys
Reporting Relationships:
- Position reports to SVP Marketing
- Direct reports: Intelisys creative marketing, marketing operations, product marketing, marketing events, partner program teams
- Interfaces with Sales and Supplier Management
- Interfaces with ScanSource specialty and corporate marketing teams and other business leadership as required to meet market and region-specific goals.
Requirements:
- 10+ years direct experience managing cross-functional team leaders in a marketing or related field
- BA in Marketing or related field of study
- Proven success in collaborating and building relationships across/with-in teams (including peer-to-peer) to achieve desired results
- Strong strategic planning and program development skills
- Strong communication and proven presentation skills
- Proven conflict resolution capability
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to enable, lead, and relate to individuals at all levels of an organization
Preferred:
- Digital Marketing expertise
- Direct campaign and event management expertise
- Partner engagement expertise and marketing management experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
- Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for this position.
- Ability to travel 30+% of the time
Compensation:
Total compensation range $170,000-$200,000
Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
Total compensation reflects both a base salary and variable targets .
