The purpose of this role is to execute the Company’s business platform transformation plan, working with Underwriting, Claims, Operations, and IT. The VP of Business Operations will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of our underwriting and data analytic environments.
Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:
Working on the Company’s platforms with the following duties:
- Coordinate and prepare communications to ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned
- Meet with the Divisions to define business requirements for new product build out and enhancements to Duck Creek Policy Admin System
- Work closely with stakeholders during inception to ensure business requirements are complete and aligned with the company’s objectives
- Manage and oversee end-to-end planning of new application launch
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Duck Creek portfolio
- Work closely with Duck Creek application support resources
- Issue and track meeting agreements/action items
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:
- Knowledge of digital transformation or business integration
- Knowledge of Policy Admin System (Duck Creek)
- Knowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience working in the insurance industry
- 7+ years of business operations, transformation, or project management roles
- Outstanding project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence stakeholders across the different dimensions of the organization
