MVP Recruitment is assisting a long-standing non-profit organization dedicated to excellence in home care, hospice, and palliative care with recruitment of their next Vice President of Clinical Services.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Clinical Services to lead the organizations clinical programs. This pivotal role involves planning, organizing, and directing the delivery of home care and hospice services. As a key member of the Senior Management team, you will help set strategic goals and objectives, ensuring the organizations services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the President, Board of Directors, and Senior Management to establish strategic goals.
- Lead the planning, organization, and evaluation of clinical services.
- Align clinical operational strategies with organizational initiatives.
- Represent the agency in interactions with external organizations.
- Develop and manage budgets in collaboration with the Vice President of Finance/CFO.
- Educate clinical directors on performance dashboards to manage their teams effectively.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Conditions of Participation (COPs).
- Oversee clinical education, orientation programs, and emergency preparedness.
- Analyze clinical operations and implement new programs to enhance patient care.
- Participate in board meetings, prepare reports, and be on-call for agency emergencies.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise seven clinical leaders, including Clinical Directors for Home Care and Hospice, Clinical Specialty Programs Manager, and Quality Assurance and Education Manager.
- Maintain open communication and foster mutual respect among all employees.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure adequate staffing, employee training, and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license or Therapy License (PT, OT, SLP).
- Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent.
- At least ten years of leadership experience in home care and/or hospice care.
- Extensive managerial experience in community health nursing.
- Strong understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation.
