Prenuvo operates preventative screening clinics in Vancouver, Silicon Valley, Dallas, Houston, Boca Raton, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, New York City, Buffalo, Bethesda, Chicago, and Atlanta, with more clinics in North America and internationally in the next 2 years.
We are looking for a VP of Finance to lead our finance function for the company, spanning strategic finance, FP&A, and accounting. This is a fully remote role, candidates located in the US or Canada are welcome to apply.
The VP of Finance will primarily be responsible for strategic finance, managerial finance, and capital planning for our multi-site business, including running the full budgeting process while being a key thought partner for the CEO and broader executive leadership team on all financial matters. This position will also oversee day-to-day financial and accounting operations including cash flow management, AR/AP, financial controls and compliance matters. They will work closely with leaders across the organization including revenue, operations, and technology departments.

What You'll Do
- Develop and manage all aspects of the Company's operational and strategic finance capabilities (70%) including:
- Ensure both capital and operational budgets and forecasts are completely accurate, timely and aligned with the needs of the business, including revenue forecasting (timing, amount and type); gross and net margin expense forecasting, and cash flow forecasting
- Work with department heads and regional operations leaders to deliver actionable financial insights and maintain and improve strong financial performance
- Analyze complex financial data and present findings to various stakeholders
- Play a key role in strategy and execution for any major acquisitions or partnerships
- Build, inspire, and lead a high performing finance organization that delivers against company goals: clearly defined KPIs and performance measurement, roles, career paths, and employee success strategies
- Oversee day-to-day financial and accounting operations (30%) including:
- Timely and accurate preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Cash flow management, AR, AP, financial controls and compliance matters
- Effective billing and receivables processes, ensuring billing timeliness and accuracy, effective revenue recognition, no revenue leakage, and effective debt handling
- Entire audit process, including managing relationships with outside auditors and generating audited financial statements
- Federal, state and local tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax laws and timely preparation of all related tax filings
- Relationships with outside lenders and investors, including compliance with and measurement of all bank reporting and covenant requirements
What You'll Bring
- 12+ years of finance experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a finance leadership role in a business with multi-site four-wall operations
- Proven track record overseeing strategic and day-to-day financial and accounting operations
- CPA and/or investment banking or corporate development experience preferred
- Knowledgeable of international trade, regulatory and compliance matters as it pertains to finance function and overall company operations
- Leadership and people-management experience, ability to lead a team in a fast paced environment
- Nice to have experience:
- Capital / equipment intensive businesses
- Health-tech / health system
- International expansion
- Familiarity with Netsuite ERP
