As the VP of Finance, you will report directly into the CEO and manage a team of 8. All candidates must have their CPA and be willing to be onsite 5 days/week! A rapidly growing food and beverage wholesaler located in Great Plains NY is seeking a VP of Finance to join their team. As the VP of Finance, you will report directly into the CEO and manage a team of 8. All candidates must have their CPA and be willing to be onsite 5 days/week! Responsibilities:
- Maintain Accounting policies and procedures, implement controls over accounting transactions
- Oversee periodic financial reports, ensure results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
- Produces the annual budget and forecasts, reports significant budget differences to management
- Provides financial analysis, capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Work with external auditors
- File quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission
- Comply with local, state, and federal government requirements
- BA degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- 10-15 years of experience within the Wholesale industry
- International, FX, and multi-currency experience required
- Must have prior experience working within a company with a revenue between 200-400M
- Microsoft Dynamics preferred
- Must be willing to be onsite 5 days/week
