VP of HR - Wakefield MA - Healthcare
Our team is working with a leading healthcare company with a focus on addiction treatment to hire a VP of HR to lead their HR function. The VP of HR will cover all areas including HR Operations/HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, and Employee Experience. This role is pivotal in driving initiatives for hiring, retaining, and enhancing the employee experience while aligning HR strategies with the company’s objectives and Total Rewards Philosophy. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and self-starter, exemplifying the organization’s mission and values.
Responsibilities:

Serve as a key business partner to senior leadership to drive and implement specific initiatives focused on employee acquisition, engagement, and performance that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.

Management of the Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, and Employee Experience (including Learning & Development and Total Rewards).

Enhance and manage the company’s HR analytical results

Create best in class processes and procedures as it pertains to talent acquisition, talent development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, and total rewards.

Lead a flexible, responsive organization that has a high sense of urgency, customer focus, and a keen eye on Groups’ human capital initiatives.

Actively engage with the leadership teams in understanding the business objectives, challenges, opportunities and facilitate solutions and people strategies to address those challenges.

Educate leadership on Total Rewards and changing workforce trends. Develop a broader Total Rewards program through deep benefits analysis and plan design. Identify opportunities for initiatives to proactively adapt to these changes. This will also include organization-wide competency assessments and career pathing, compensation by cohort analysis, and ongoing capacity analysis and resulting alignments.

Mitigate legal risk through proactive training and education, clear systems and processes for managing conflicts with and between employees, handling and investigating complaints of harassment/discrimination and other unjust practice allegations.

Maintain current knowledge and application of all relevant laws and regulations at the local, state, and national level relating to employment and ensure organizational compliance.

Identify ways to increase staff retention and productivity, including strategies to enhance employee engagement, leadership and staff development, regular feedback and coaching, career pathing, and promoting a coherent organizational culture

Drive and manage culture development initiatives that support the business in its innovation and growth objectives, including succession planning.

Lead the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
Qualifications:
-
10+ plus years of directly-related human resources leadership experience with successful demonstration of the key responsibilities as presented above

BS/BA in human resources, Business Administration, or another related field required

HRCI and/or SHRM Certification required.

MBA preferred.

Strong background in talent acquisition and management. Experience creating recruitment and retention strategies within a multi-site, multi-state organization.

Experience leading an HR department at an organization that experienced substantial growth.

Extensive experience implementing HRIS or HCM systems. Experience with ADP

Experience in a behavioral health or substance use disorder health care provider setting.

Experience supporting a multi-unit business to provide strategic guidance and practices to drive retention and engagement.

For remote roles, access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 10M download and 5M upload package or higher as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location.

Must meet pre-employment requirements and maintain all applicable state and job-related guidelines for background screening. Depending on state-specific requirements, this may include fingerprinting, drug testing, health screening, CPR/Basic First Aid and license/credential verifications.

Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
