Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as the VP of Inside Sales and Customer Service. In this role, you will be responsible for closing insurance policies sales and building and nurturing strong relationships with our valued clients and partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded, while leading a team of internal insurance agents and customer service representatives.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all inside sales and customer service operations
Lead and motivate a remote team of inside sales and customer service representatives
to hit and exceed sales, retention, and customer satisfaction goals
Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and customer service objectives. Develop
and execute plans to achieve these objectives
Draft detailed and accurate sales reports to present to leadership
Partner with clients to better understand their needs and goals
Develop a sales training program to train new and current employees and distribution
partners (e.g. insurance agents and brokers)
Effectively implement continuous improvement strategies for customer service and
sales operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners (e.g. insurance agents and
brokers)
Track and maintain department budgets
Other duties assigned at the discretion of management
Requirements
5-10 years of inside sales and customer service experience, out of which 3-5 managing
teams
Such experience in the Insurance space - a plus
Experience hitting and exceeding goals and improving performance. Prior remote team
management is a big plus
P&C insurance license and designations such as CIC - a big plus
Skills
Excellent leadership skills
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Ability to present KPI data to leadership
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Strong passion and drive to succeed, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-
paced environment
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Willingness to work evening or weekends as needed
High IT literacy and proficiency in using various computer software such as Google
Enterprise Suite (e.g. Google docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive, Gmail, etc.) as well as MS productivity applications, Zoom, Zoho, etc.
