The VP of Large Employer Population Health Strategy will play a pivotal role within the leadership team at Vital Incite, reporting directly to the Managing Partner. Responsibilities will encompass creating demand for Vital Incite through public speaking engagements, supporting sales efforts to help move Alera Group up market, and collaborating with other senior leaders to shape the future direction of Vital Incite. In addition, this role will serve as the senior strategist for major accounts, overseeing and guiding the development of high-impact strategies and solutions. As a senior strategist this person will manage a team of strategists and analysts, ensuring they are effectively supporting client needs for major accounts and handling special consulting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the development of strategic initiatives to support improved impact of Vital Incite and successful support of larger employers
- As senior strategist responsible for their client relationships, understanding client needs and driving and supporting strategies that create results
- Support sales through RFP work, finalist presentations, and employer or advisor meetings
- Create increased demand for Vital Incite and Alera Group through development of trend briefings, case studies, presentations at larger conferences
- Supervising a team of strategists and analysts to help optimize customer service and value of Vital Incite. Conducts 1:1 and coaching meetings, performance reviews, addresses goal setting and career development needs, evaluates team structure and effectiveness, handles escalated issues and decisions, cascades communications as appropriate, is involved in compensation decisions, handles disciplinary actions as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field related to healthcare
- Minimum of 5 years in healthcare consulting to support strategic outcomes
- Minimum 3 years experience in public speaking
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales
- Knowledge of trends in healthcare driving cost and creating demands for employer markets
- Strong understanding of the self-insured market, with experience with services for employers over 3,000 employee lives
- Ability to travel to other offices and/or off-site client meetings, or conferences/events is expected for this position
*We are open to considering a remote candidate in the eastern or central time zones, with the Midwest region being preferred.*
Travel will be expected to the office in Indiana approx. 2-3 times/year, along with frequent travel to client sites, finalist meetings, conferences, etc.
