This executive position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively oversee and manage the operations of our managed care department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing managed care strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for managed care department to align with the overall goals of the organization.
- Negotiate contracts with health insurance providers to ensure the best possible coverage for our patients.
- Oversee the administration of managed care programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other department heads and executives to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve patient outcomes.
- Analyze data to identify trends, make recommendations, and predict future needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and patients.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of managed care staff.
- Participate in the development of budgets and financial strategies for the managed care department.
- Ensure the managed care department operates efficiently and effectively, delivering the highest quality of care to our patients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of executive-level experience in managed care or a related healthcare field.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Familiarity with Simplr and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage relationships with health insurance providers.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in revenue generation and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare laws and regulations related to managed care.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Strong commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
