Our client is on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative VP of Media Strategy to join their forward-thinking full service creative Agency. This is a permanent position that requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive strategies that drive client success and elevate brand awareness. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing media strategies that align with client goals. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, an eye for identifying opportunities, and the ability to inspire a team to achieve exceptional results across traditional, digital and emerging media platforms.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with client objectives and deliver measurable results.
2. Lead a team of marketing and media professionals, providing guidance, mentorship and strategic direction.
3. Manage media client relationships at a high level to ensure the delivery of high-quality work that meets their strategic goals.
4. Monitor and analyze media performance, using insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, using this knowledge to inform our client's media strategy and keep them at the forefront of the industry.
6. Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing media team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
7. Manage the media budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and deliver a strong return on investment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a media strategy role within the marketing industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and customer engagement ideally within an Agency environment.
3. Strong leadership skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
4. Deep understanding of media trends and the ability to use this knowledge to develop innovative strategies.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decision-making and drive performance.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategy and performance to a range of stakeholders.
7. Proven ability to manage agency relationships and budgets effectively.
8. High level of business acumen and strategic thinking.
9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, media buying and performance analytics tools.
