About the Job
We are seeking a VP of Sales with a proven track record of success and results to leverage ChargeAfter's embedded lending platform value proposition in the market and drive strategic business opportunities.
The VP of Sales will play a pivotal role in new merchants acquisition and ChargeAfter’s revenue growth in a fast-paced market environment, taking on a significant role in positioning ChargeAfter as a leading player in the market by leading a veteran sales team, to achieve outstanding results.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop a revenue strategy aligned with ChargeAfter’s vision and goals to expand the company’s customer base, achieve results, and drive growth.
- Lead ChargeAfter's sales team to achieve outstanding results in the Merchant market by building a targeted sales pipeline to meet targets and expand the customer base
- Lead strategic sales opportunities from inception to fruition.
- Continuously review and refine the selling process to optimize ChargeAfter's sales process and implement best practices.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA - advantage)
- 5 years of Experience in solution selling Saas products to Merchants / Retailers (Verticals - Furniture, home improvements, elective medical, electronics, etc.).
- Experience in payments/ POS financing products to Merchants/ retailers (Verticals - Furniture, home improvements, elective medical, electronics, etc.) - advantage.
- Proven sales team leadership experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
- Analytical thinker who can quickly adapt to the changing needs of the fast-paced market environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

NYC Posting: In accordance with New York City Local Law 32, the expected salary for this role is between $190,000-$220,000. This role may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or stock options. All offers to candidates will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s individual experience, skill set, background and other business and organizational needs.
