Job Title: VP of Operations/COO - Multifamily & Renovation
A dynamic and growing company in the multifamily development and renovation industry is seeking a VP of Operations/COO to review and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and drive the organization forward. The ideal candidate is a confident, strong-willed leader who stands up for what’s right and communicates effectively, even when challenged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve operational processes, reviewing and updating SOPs for maximum efficiency.
- Work closely with the CEO, managing day-to-day operations, and acting as the key strategic leader in the company.
- Lead multifamily renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Push back when necessary while maintaining strong, collaborative professional relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance performance and drive company growth.
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in multifamily operations, ideally with a background in a management or development group as a VP of Operations or COO.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Proven experience managing large multifamily projects and renovations.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and ability to navigate challenging conversations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
