About the Job
We are seeking a highly experienced sales executive to provide hands-on guidance to clients, secure new clients, and expand the organization's stakeholder (investor) base. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of high-impact, wealth-creating businesses across Iowa. Responsibilities:
Client Guidance:
- Assess client sales organization needs (structure, compensation, skills)
- Develop and implement sales organization growth plans
- Create and manage sales compensation plans
- Build effective sales expense budgets
- Establish realistic sales forecasts
- Collaborate with marketing leadership on market penetration strategies
- Provide sales training to maximize individual and team success
New Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target optimal client profiles
- Interview and secure new clients
Stakeholder Expansion:
- Present the organization’s value proposition to business leaders across Iowa
- Secure multi-year pledges to support operational funding
Requirements:
- Proven track record of assembling and leading high-performance sales teams across industries, including SaaS and hard goods
- Expertise in sales skills development and training
- Ability to foster relationships that drive stakeholder investments
- Strong interpersonal, emotional intelligence, and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to travel within Iowa as needed
