VP, Relationship Management
What does a successful VP, Relationship Management do at Fiserv?
You will be responsible for leading a team of Relationship Managers.
Collectively, the team is focused on building and managing client relationships, increasing wallet share and driving client retention. You will successfully lead the RM team with strategic directives, planning, and client development to ensure Fiserv is both managing and growing client relationships
successfully.
What you will do:
Lead a team of Relationship Managers (RM) responsible for:
+ Serving as primary point of contact and resource to clients, sales support, marketing, and management for on-going operations, strategy & Business Development.
+ Identifying and building a pipeline of revenue generating opportunities that increase profitability and contribution margin of partnership and lead retention of partnership via contract renegotiations and renewals that deliver profitable outcomes for Fiserv.
+ Cultivating and improving relationships across multi-level and teams at client to identify and implement solutions to grow and expand revenue.
+ Establishing and using strong internal relationships and networks across Fiserv to effectively influence and complete revenue growth plans.
+ Increasing Likely to Recommend score through deep strategic partnerships and obtain assigned sales quota through contract renewals and the sale of various products and services to assigned client portfolio in partnership with product sales SMEs.
+ Responsible for retaining customers through proactive contacts, thorough follow-up on outstanding issues, and professional contract negotiations and carry out day to day maintenance of daily operations for assigned client portfolio.
What you will need to have:
+ Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business
+ 8 years of experience leading sales or relationship management teams, with emphasis on P&L Management, Sales Management, and Relationship Management
+ 6 years of talent development (people management) and sales leadership experience
+ Experience in the financial services technology industry
+ Experience managing a high performing team and managing quotas
+ Experience managing a large P&L
+ Strong knowledge of sales processes
+ Ability to travel up to 60% domestically
What will be great to have:
+ Master’s degree, preferably in Business
+ Prior Fiserv knowledge with a focus on Merchant Solutions
+ Knowledge of data processing contracts and legal impact of contracts
+ Experience working in a matrix environment
+ Dealing with large complex clients, and skilled and experience in contract negotiations for multi-million-dollar contracts
