About the Job
The VP of Revenue Marketing is a key member of Pendo’s executive team. The leader is responsible for partnering with the product, sales and sales development teams to create and capture demand, then convert it into pipeline across buyer segment, geography and product line. This executive is responsible for defining and executing an integrated marketing strategy to support Pendo’s ambitious growth goals. They’ll lead the teams responsible for digital-, field-, lifecycle- and customer marketing, demand gen and product-led growth. They’ll also serve as the primary point of contact for finance and marketing operations.
The successful candidate will be highly results-driven and deeply collaborative with their counterparts throughout the go-to-market organization. Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments is essential, as is a proven ability to drive pipeline.
The role reports to Pendo’s CMO, and has ample exposure to the company’s C-suite and board of directors. It is common for this role to be responsible for at least one of Pendo’s organization-wide annual initiatives as well as periodic presentations to the Board.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and execute pipeline generation and deal acceleration programs in support of quarterly revenue targets.
- Spearhead budgeting, attribution, reporting and performance/ROI analysis.
- Develop inbound/outbound lead generation strategy for digital and offline channels including: SEM/PPC, social, display/retargeting, field events, and webinars, as well as experimenting with new channels.
- Formulate forecasts and create the marketing plan including methods for market penetration, customer acquisition, customer retention and expansion.
- Guide our marketing tech stack, with an emphasis on leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and performance.
- Enhance and manage the lead management process to improve efficiency and data fidelity.
- Align with the product team to co-manage our PLG motion.
- Partner closely with VP of revenue operations, worldwide sales leadership and finance in support of budget targets and growth objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years experience driving revenue impact through marketing
- 5+ years experience leading and managing a team (5+) direct reports
- A successful track record with high-growth B2B SaaS companies
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM, AI and BI tools (specific experience with Marketo, Salesforce and Looker a plus)
- Exceptional creativity, leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Extremely results-oriented and collaborative
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Thrives in metrics and data-driven environments

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed is $210,000-$262,500.
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
