Title: VP, Revenue Strategy & Operations
Reporting to: EVP, Strategy
Classification: Full-time Employee
Location: New York or Los Angeles (Hybrid)
Compensation: $200k - $225k annual base bonus

WSE also holds partnerships with 100 rights holders and sports properties, providing always-on programming to followers of the internet's largest and most engaged social communities.
Our ideal candidate for this role has experience as a strategic and operational leader in digital media, partnering with sales teams on account management, pricing, packaging, custom content sponsorships and various digital ad products. We are a high-performing, fast-paced team that will require this role to be highly organized, flexible and quick on your feet. The two must-haves for anyone on our team are that 1 - they are a good person, and 2 - they are highly competent at what they’re asked to do.
Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Oversee & develop the growing team of Account Managers to ensure Wave is offering our clients the best experience possible
- Improve processes and take responsibility for the efficiency of the team
- Have a presence as an overall leader at the company that provides an important point of view into our revenue strategy
- Sales Planning & Strategy
- Be the primary strategic partner to our Head of Sales in managing the prioritization of our inventory and pipeline
- Lead pricing and packaging & provide guidance to AMs & Sales team on media plans
- Deal & Campaign Execution
- Responsible for recommending execution of client IOs
- Monitor execution of major brand partnerships and identify potential issues
- Set up brand studies in collaboration with AMs
- Work with Strategy team to create standardized client reporting
- Ad Products
- Provide expertise and stay up to date on all digital ad products relevant to our business and incorporate into our product menu.
- Serve as the expert on the revenue opportunities on the social platforms, most importantly YouTube
Qualifications
- 10 years of digital media experience
- Experience providing strategic guidance to a digital sales team
- Experience managing a team that is required to have a very strong attention to detail
- Client-facing experience and superior communication skills
- Strong deck making and presentation skills
- Experience managing and executing media campaigns and familiarity with digital and audio media metrics
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency with Ads Manager tools for Meta, Snap, TikTok, and other digital media platforms
- Extreme attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, for both external and internal purposes
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment that frequently changes
- Committed, positive and goal oriented in everything you do
- An outspoken idea-generator on a team tasked with creating "big idea" advertising solutions and presentations

This role is a full-time position with a base salary range of $200,000 to $225,000/year, and may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Actual salary at the time of offer may vary based on multiple factors, including an individual's experience level and qualifications. Physical Requirements Work Environment
- Capacity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery and hardware.
- The ability to communicate and exchange information clearly and accurately.
- Work is sedentary and involves sitting for the majority of work hours.
- Able to work full-time M-F and nights and weekends as needed.
- The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment.
- The worker may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during production when in the office.
