To help us work toward our purpose and further accelerate our trajectory, we are recruiting a Vice President Supply Chain to join our leadership team. This individual will report directly to the CEO and will be chiefly responsible for building a resilient supply chain which can take our products from initial ideation to scaled commercial production and delivery.
This position is available for hybrid work within East Tennessee, Southern Virginia, Western North Carolina, with regular travel expectations to our HQ in the Johnson City, TN area.

Our VP Supply Chain will be responsible for the following critical components of our business:
- You will, at all times, embody our Company Values.
- You will lead supply chain transformation efforts across a variety of product families.
- You will manage (and improve) our cross-functional S&OP process.
- You will create mutually-beneficial relationships with key suppliers, memorialized in LTAs.
- You will develop and manage a flexible supply chain with component inventory management, BoM, further processing, and internal assembly.
- You will be an entrepreneurial leader who will identify and pursue high-ROIC opportunities and optimizations within our supply chain.
- You will lead and manage our ERP system, linking supply chain transformation flows through the IT and data process.
- You will manage our purchasing efforts to ensure POs are placed on time and in full.
The perfect candidate should have the following traits, behaviors, and experiences:
- You have at least 10-15 years’ experience in operations, process management, process engineering, workflow, contract manufacturing, and/or supply chain management.
- You have experience in a highly-regulated manufacturing environment, such as aerospace parts, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
- You love technology, and you have granular understanding of systems, data management, and ERP implementations.
- You have a strong orientation for details, bordering on obsessive.
- You have a bias to action, and a mindset of optimization and execution.
- You have empathy for those around you, but you are unapologetic about the unrealistically high standards you pursue for yourself and your teams.
- You have demonstrated an ability to work with cross-functional teams to create “customer oriented” solutions.
- You’re a clear and efficient communicator, embodying respectful candor and thoughtful directness.
