Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Vice President of Technology and Shared Services is responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of all aspects related to the enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and service delivery operations at EyeCare Partners. This pivotal role encompasses the management, design, implementation, and maintenance of both cloud and on-premise technology infrastructure, ensuring unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness to support the organization's mission-critical operations. In addition to overseeing network, storage, servers, virtualization, unified communications, and messaging services, the Vice President will spearhead service delivery initiatives to guarantee seamless IT operations and unparalleled user experience across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the entire IT infrastructure landscape, encompassing cloud and on-premise technologies, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in IT service delivery, leveraging emerging technologies and automation to enhance operational efficiency and business agility.
- Oversee the selection, deployment, and management of infrastructure-specific software and applications, including performance monitoring tools and management platforms.
- Direct the management and optimization of telephone systems, contact center technology, workplace solutions, and end-user hardware and software services to support organizational productivity and collaboration.
- Define and implement infrastructure service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring adherence to performance metrics, and providing regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Champion infrastructure automation initiatives, promoting the adoption of infrastructure as code and automation best practices to streamline operations and minimize manual intervention.
- Foster transparency and accountability across the IT infrastructure ecosystem, promoting open communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Information Security, Business Applications, Digital, and Data teams, to drive alignment and synergy in achieving organizational goals.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring the resilience and availability of critical IT systems and services in the event of unforeseen disruptions or disasters.
- Provide leadership and guidance on IT risk management, compliance, and financial processes related to both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure deployments.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing IT infrastructure and service delivery functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Extensive expertise in cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and proficiency across various technology domains, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Proven track record of leading and executing infrastructure transformation initiatives, driving innovation, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture high-performing teams, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and drive organizational change.
