Job Description:
We are seeking a bilingual, energetic, detail-oriented and dependable Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee manufacturing, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Primary responsibilities are to guarantee timely production and fulfillment of our customers’ orders while meeting our high level of quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Must be fluent in Spanish & English.
- Oversee Snack Food Manufacturing.
- Quality Control.
- Must be cross trained in all manufacturing processes & equipment.
- Responsible for training new employees.
- Freezer management and organization.
- Ensure packing lines are running efficiently and meeting daily requirements.
- Effectively manage and coach packing and production teams to meet quotas.
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness before clearing to ship.
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills.
- Maintain a direct line of communication with office personnel.
- Inventories are managed and updated weekly.
- Schedule and staff packing and production teams if necessary.
- Serve as a point of contact in the absence of the warehouse manager.
- Actively supports and leads teams in all necessary activities to meet goals.
- Implement, manage and improve warehouse daily operations.
- Maintain punctual production schedules.
- Strong leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Energetic positive individual with a track record of accountability, and results.
- Experienced leader possessing a team orientated approach.
Qualifications:
- Must speak fluent English & Spanish.
- Prior people and team management experience.
- Inventory management experience.
- 2 years warehouse lead experience.
- Production and manufacturing experience.
- Picking and packing experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically excel.
- Must be knowledgeable with all computers.
