Randall Prefabrication is currently seeking a top-tier Warehouse Assistant to work in our Shop in Apopka, FL. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.
Position Summary
At Randall, a Warehouse Assistant helps with various tasks to maintain the day-to-day operations of a warehouse. This position to the Logistics / Warehouse – Inventory Manager.
Essential Functions
- Data entry into inventory system
- Receiving Materials
- Stock material allocation and Order Review
- Staging and Dispatching Materials
- Stock Material Inventory Quantity Level
- Warehouse Housekeeping
- Equipment Maintenance
- Inventory control
- Safety
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Desired Qualification Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft office, excel, inventory software, etc.).
- Professional image/presentable.
- Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
- Communication skills (can speak to people in a professional environment.)
- Time conscious (can be on time and efficient).
- Some Trade knowledge (Plumbing, HVAC, etc.) preferred.
- Teachable (self-teachable, willing to go out and find knowledge that they need.)
- Good with Mathematics.
- Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Ability to pass drug screen and reference check.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety procedures at all times.
- Ability to work well with others.
Physical Requirements
This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. , be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
