Purpose
Performs all functions associated with material handling and material distribution.
Main Responsibilities
- Identifies strategic talent needs, risks, and gaps, and leads the efforts to create plans to develop employees and leaders using talent management tools and resources.
- Cycle counting product in the warehouse daily.
- Receiving and unloading incoming inventory items.
- Assisting in the inspection of product when received.
- Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
- Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders.
- Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
- Assist in pulling parts during busy times.
- Operate a forklift.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Performs all functions associated with material handling and material distribution.
- Accumulate components/parts for production from bill of materials (BOM).
- Identify product and packing lists by purchase order and shop area number.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience preferred
*Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Must live or be willing to relocate to within a reasonable safe commute to the San Carlos, CA plant.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift 60 lbs+
- Capable of operating pallet jack & forklift
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and hardworking
- Able to work under pressure
- Punctual and reliable
- Proficient in English reading and writing, and conversant in English
