Job Overview:
The primary function of the Warehouse Associate is to maintain the parts room and parts / supply inventory. Plus, perform highly diversified duties including but not limited to painting, cleaning, setting up, grounds and facility maintenance, closing and maintaining facilities to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the department supervisor.
Essential Job Functions:
- Stocking shelves, stock rotation, restocking and stock relocation.
- Receiving, shipping and transferring parts, components, materials and supplies.
- Set up and maintain inventory in a ready state for use.
- Painting Projects.
- Perform various levels of manual labor: operate a variety of light equipment.
- Ensure that all work is being done in compliance with company protocol.
- Proper safety and incident reporting procedures are to be followed at all times.
- Effectively handle lifting of various objects.
- Read and interpret safety/employment manuals and other work-related documents.
- Work extended hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly facility.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to lift 60 pounds of necessary equipment; Able to push and pull 75 pounds.
- Handle exposure to dust, fumes, confined spaces and high noise levels.
- Demonstrate professionalism; be courteous and friendly to customers and co-workers at all times.
- Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively perform responsibilities under a high level of stress.
- Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Able to pass 7-year criminal background check.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
