About the Job
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring supplies are accurately distributed to crews in good condition and in a timely manner. This role preps and loads supplies and equipment and maintains the necessary paperwork to record product movement. Working hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Sturgeon Electric has experience performing projects under Integrated Lean Project Delivery methods, and also offers pre-construction services, in-house pre-fabrication capabilities, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities.
Essential Functions
- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, assembly and transportation of materials
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles
- Complete and maintain inventories
- Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Receive and fill orders
- Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver material
- Regular and predictable attendance
- The essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of warehouse experience required
- High School Diploma or GED is required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with tool/material tracking databases, Tool Watch preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Positive attitude and team player
- Self-starter
- Attentive to details
- Organized, punctual, reliable
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $22 / hour
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
