Job Description:
As a Warehouse Associate/Parts Puller, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pull parts and products from inventory to fulfill customer orders. You will ensure that orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly and promptly, contributing to our commitment to superior customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment:
- Accurately pick parts and products from inventory based on order specifications.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and correctly labeled.
- Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before shipment.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records by updating the system with stock movements.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments.
- Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Customer Service:
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide information about product availability.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve order-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [weight limit], typically 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
