Beacon Home Services is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate/Parts Runner to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you'll be instrumental in efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of electrical and plumbing parts and equipment, contributing to the success of our operations.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate/Parts Runner is responsible for efficiently handling electrical and plumbing parts and equipment. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing these materials while ensuring a well-organized warehouse environment. In addition to supporting inventory control, this role involves occasional delivery to worksites and suppliers. The successful candidate will work under supervision, adhering to established processes while demonstrating flexibility and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Skillfully load and unload electrical and plumbing materials onto various storage systems and vehicles, using proper techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Manage inventory control tasks for electrical and plumbing items, including transfers, receiving, and maintaining accurate records of warehouse stock.
- Ensure proper stocking of trucks and the warehouse with electrical and plumbing supplies, and generate required reports to support inventory management.
- Uphold internal control procedures to maintain compliance and accuracy within the inventory management process.
- Contribute to facility maintenance by keeping the warehouse and equipment clean and operational.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries of electrical and plumbing parts, transporting them via company vehicle to designated sites.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and superiors, fostering strong working relationships.
- Prioritize customer service excellence, maintaining a high level of professionalism during interactions.
- Communicate regularly with the Inventory Manager to ensure effective workflow and alignment.
- Drive safely and responsibly at all times while operating the company vehicle.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including potential weekend shifts.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in multitasking to manage diverse responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service aptitude and interpersonal skills.
- Clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stamina to stand, bend, stoop, sit, and reach during daily tasks.
- Willingness to travel to different locations as required.

Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Lunch break: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM (30 minutes)
