Warehouse Associate (Syracuse, NY) - MYR Group

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring supplies are accurately distributed to crews in good condition and in a timely manner. This role preps and loads supplies and equipment and maintains the necessary paperwork to record product movement. This role is also responsible for using a company vehicle to pick up and deliver materials & equipment to job sites.

Essential Functions

• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of materials
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles
• Complete and maintain inventories
• Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Receive and fill orders
• Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver material
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
• Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 - 5 years of warehouse experience, electrical experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with tool/material tracking databases, Tool Watch preferred
• Number sense
• Ability to problem solve
• Positive attitude and team player
• Self-starter
• Attentive to details
• Organized, punctual, reliable
• Valid driver's license required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary $37,000 - $47,000/ annually
  • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
