Summary of KeyResponsibilities:
Work Boots Required
The following keyqualifications are preferred for the wire cutter role.
Attention to detail
Wire cutting experience
Forklift experience
Machine operating experience
Inventory control andreceiving experience
Assembles and fills orders tobe shipped to customers or other divisions.
Loads/Unloads common carrierand company vehicles.
Assembles customer orders tobe shipped via UPS/LTL
Processes paperwork regardingshipments including: verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct,applying the correct postage tape, filling out proper BOL information for LTLshipments, following customer shipping instructions and insuring the shipment whennecessary.
Gathers assembled orders thatare in carts and verifies their quantities and descriptions. Counts and writestotal quantity of merchandise being shipped on the invoice.
Packs each order into acontainer and arranges the container onto a shelf according to truck route.
Verifies quantities and itemsbeing shipped against the invoice.
Substitutes for otherwarehouse personnel when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Use of Scanner for WarehouseManagement System, picking orders and general put away of material afterreceipt.
Qualifications:
Able to meet deadlines.
Excellent attendance recordrequired.
Able to work overtime asneeded.
Requirements:
General knowledge ofelectrical products.
Ability to effectivelycommunicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
Ability to perform basicmathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks.
Ability to organize andprioritize job tasks and requirements.
