About the Job
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in receiving goods and mail at receiving area.
- Ensures that delivered items with a purchase order are received into computerized financial system.
- Signs for incoming packages.
- Stocks incoming goods in proper warehouse shelf location in a timely manner
- Prepares mail, packages, parcels and return items for outgoing shipment when needed.
- Utilizes handheld computerized device to scan Kanban cards and bins to create pick lists
- Picks goods from warehouse shelves for delivery to sites based on pick lists or Kanban signal
- Ensures cold goods prepared for shipment are secured at correct temperatures to avoid spoilage en route
- Stages goods in an organized, timely fashion for freight delivery
- Assists Truck Driver with loading and properly securing freight load when needed
- Assist team in physical inventory counts when needed.
- Position will follow guidelines and procedures outlined in the Ancillary Utilization Plan.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, accurate data entry required.
- Familiar with Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to work independently with focus and initiative.
- Previous experience with warehouse receiving and distribution preferred.
- Ability to work well with people, vendors, and other departments.
- Able to consistently demonstrate essential clinical competencies for this role and license/certification.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in warehouse environment and processes required.
- Ability to obtain WA State Pharmacy Assistant Certification required, to be obtained and paid for by Vancouver Clinic.
Pay Range:
$19.22 - $26.91

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
