WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT - Spherion

Now hiring for Warehouse Forklift. Spherion of Connecticut currently has Warehouse Forklift opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our Warehouse Forklift will be working a first shift with limited required OT. The Warehouse Forklift will support our customers in operating a forklift to manage inventory, organize the warehouse, and support our receiving and distribution processes. Mon thru Fri. - Up to $17.50 per hour to start - depending on experience

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations to maintain order and efficiency.
Assist in receiving shipments, verifying contents, and ensuring all inventory is recorded accurately.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
Prepare orders for shipment by gathering and staging products as required.
Support the team by lifting, carrying, and placing materials in designated areas.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, especially when operating heavy equipment.
Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse, disposing of packaging materials and cleaning spills as needed.
Adapt to extended hours during peak winter season (6:00 AM ? 6:00 PM).
