Position Summary:

This position is responsible for coordinating and providing leadership to the warehouse staff and assisting in the daily activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads the warehouse staff during shift and provide training.  Oversees supplies and ensures finished goods are rotated and stored accurately
• Ensures warehouse inventories of products and related supplies are maintained. Performs physical inventory assessments and verifies accuracy of received items
• Works with Warehouse Manager to ensure scheduling priorities to meet customer demands
• Builds DO’s, ship loads in system, cut seals and seal trailers and ensures accuracy in product shipment
• Maintains open communication with internal and external contacts regarding inventory of finished goods and other materials
• Partners with Warehouse Manager on aspects of human resource management including, performance management, training, and coaching within company policy and regulatory compliance.  Provides for effective staff development according to requirement
• Ensures regular preventative maintenance procedures are followed, including daily housekeeping
• Actively engages team in activities to meet targets for safety, sanitation and warehousing/delivery of products
• Operates and promotes in accordance with health, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices.
• Fill in for Warehouse Manager during vacation or absences
• Other duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• 3+ years’ experience as a Forklift Operations Trainer
• 3+ years’ Leadership experience
• Previous forklift operation experience
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

• Must be able to push, pull, simple grasping, 3+ hours per shift
• Must be able to perform fine manipulation and feel for 6+ hours per shift
• Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, stoop and kneel for 3+ hours per shift
• Must be able to lift up-to 34 pounds independently for 6+ hours per shift
• Must be able to reach above shoulders for 3+ hours per shift
• Must be able to operate foot pedals for 6+ hours per shift
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shift
• Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken or written word and be able to make fine distinctions in sound
• Must be able to distinguish object or equipment visually
