Warehouse Lead - Milk Specialties Global

About the Job
We are currently seeking a Warehouse to join the New Holstein, WI team at our offsite warehouse. 1st shift 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri.
Warehouse Lead Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse staff
- Perform Inventory Transactions (System21 ERP/WMS) including:
- Location to Location Transfers
- PO and Transfer Order Receipts
- Order Shipments
- Inventory Adjustments
- Lead and execute regular cycle count activities including:
- Plan and schedule counts
- Print count sheets
- Oversee counting, data collection and data entry
- Reconcile count against system inventory
- Perform inventory adjustments
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through:
- Regular update and review of inventory reports
- Participating in inventory meetings
- Performing system inquiry and transaction functions
- Responsible for loading (shipping) and unloading (receiving) shipments.
- Shipping:
▪ Understand Pick Note to assemble (pick), stage and load shipments
according to Item, Lot, Location and Quantity required.
▪ Legibly complete required paperwork and deliver to office. - Receiving:
▪ Inspect Inventory and Trailer for receipt acceptability.
▪ Collect receiving paperwork and unload according to SOP.
▪ Validate quantities unloaded against paperwork (BOL, Packing List,
Pick Note, etc.)
▪ Put-away inventory according to SOP and warehouse location rules.
▪ Deliver completed, validated paperwork to office.
▪ Label Inventory Appropriately.
- Shipping:
- Communicate with Supervisor or Lead Person regarding:
- Material defects or other quality issues.
- Inventory levels (paperwork quantities don’t match actual inventory).
- Other inventory, quality or safety issues.
- Keep work area clean and free of clutter
- Perform Cycle Counts according to SOP or as instructed by Supervisor
Warehouse Lead Requirements:
- 2+ years working in a warehouse environment
- Experience with an ERP Inventory System
- Basic Microsoft Excel Skills
- Inventory control and cycle counting experience
- Material Handling experience
- Order Picking Experience
- Detail oriented
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Forklift experience
