Position Summary:
Assist Warehouse Supervisors and Manager as directed in addition to performing the daily tasks of a warehouse person.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Assist Warehouse Supervisors and Manager in the areas of
- Training, safety, auditing and conducting daily shift meetings
- Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
- Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
- Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
- Pick and select products, palletize products, shrink wrap carts/pallets and load trailers using powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Assist in the preparation of:
- WHS loading maps & pre-shift agenda
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 Years of age
- Drivers Licences (PR)
- Three years directly related work experience
- Willing to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays, due to our 24/7 environment
- Must be able to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions
- This position must pass post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Food industry
- Clear knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory and/or invoice software
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods when working on the warehouse floor.
