About the Job
Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of inventory and purchasing for Liberty Companies All Access and Equipment divisions. These divisions inventory concentrate mainly on construction hoists, tower cranes, scaffold and shoring inventory and motorized access products. The warehouse manager will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of national programs for inventory and purchasing controls along with driving continual improvement processes with the goal of realizing a reduction in costs. They will also work with the National inventory director to aid in the development and implementation of material flow improvements in the warehouses to accurately track inventory levels promote equipment utilization and manage trucking operations for the execution of all work particularly where allocating job costs. The successful applicant will be responsible for time management of all Access and Equipment staff and ensure that productivity is monitored and improved annually.
Ideal candidate(s) will have experience of construction inventory equipment related to Scaffolding, Hoists, and Tower Cranes.
Responsibilities:- Leads and directs activities and personnel of the warehouse and its inventory to obtain maximum efficiency and economy of operations and to maximize profits in the execution of Liberty Companies projects.
- Assists in the development and implementation of procurement and contract management policies and procedures. Works closely with national and divisional leadership to drive standard process and best practices.
- Represents company in negotiating vendor pricing where needed and play an integral role in tracking the timeliness of vendor invoices and their allocation to the correct job cost budget.
- Ensure the preparation and procurement of all materials needed to meet project budget and schedule.
- Manages the ongoing qualification and evaluation process for vendor of materials and equipment, subcontractors, and professional service providers.
- Manage the maintenance of records of goods ordered and received.
- Proactively develops and manages key vendor relationships.
- Refer to contract pricing related to the rental inventory of each project to ensure all billing is captured on a weekly/monthly basis and is in line with the contract terms and conditions.
- Develop with the National inventory director strong internal controls for the efficient management of all inventory and operations related to the All Access and Equipment Divisions.
- Responsible for the general appearance and organization of the materials in the warehouse and yard including all motorized equipment utilized in the day-to-day operations.
- Perform regular cycle counts to closely track and maintain inventory levels and investigate any discrepancies found.
- Organize, prep and count all inhouse inventory for yearly audit and reconcile any deficiencies found.
- Track and approve all warehouse hours in HH2 timekeeping software on a weekly basis
- Bachelors Degree in related field preferred but not essential
- High School Diploma
- Successful track record of technical competency in commercial construction warehousing and inventory management
- Must have excellent cost structure knowledge of equipment and materials common in the construction industry.
- Experience structuring contracts with vendors, contractors, and service providers preffered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general knowledge of database utilization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Highly organized with effective time management skills.

General office and warehouse working conditions with exposure to warehouse activities including welding, motorized equipment traffic, and inclement weather typical of the area. Site visits may be required as part of inventory audits or cycle counts. All PPE is to be worn by the warehouse manager during all warehouse and field activities and it is to be enforced with all warehouse personnel.
Constant physical activity typical of a working warehouse environment. Requirements will include long periods of time standing, walking and the ability to regularly move lift materials up to 90 lbs.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
