Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products. This role requires leadership in maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing warehouse space, and ensuring the safety and productivity of the warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
Ensure all warehouse processes are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse layout and space optimization strategies.
Coordinate with the procurement and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Physical Requirements:
Work Schedule:
Full-time, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends or extended hours as needed.

- Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and monthly physical counts.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Monitor inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Team Management:
- Lead, manage, and develop warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure staff adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and productivity.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Technology and Systems:
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory, orders, and shipments.
- Recommend and implement technological improvements to enhance warehouse
- Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment.
- Cost Control:
- Manage warehouse budgets, including labor, equipment, and supply costs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best rates on warehouse supplies and equipment.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze warehouse operations and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure warehouse performance.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in warehouse operations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions, including refrigerated and non-refrigerated environments.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends or extended hours as needed.
