About the Job
At Curbco, we are seeking a Humble, Hungry, and Smart Warehouse Manager who is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the manufacturing warehouse. This includes ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, tools, and curb adapters, maintaining supply inventory accuracy, leading and developing a strong team, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for implementing safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Operations Management:**
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of curb adapters.
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers’ expectations and business timelines.
- Manage and optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.
- **Inventory Management:**
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures to prevent stock discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy.
- **Team Management:**
- Recruit, train, and supervise the warehouse team members.
- Develop and implement employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Provide leadership and coaching to warehouse staff to enhance performance, foster a positive working environment, and adhere to the company values.
- **Safety and Compliance:**
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- **Process Improvement:**
- Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and technology to streamline operations.
- **Reporting and Documentation:**
- Generate and analyze warehouse performance reports.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts.
- Prepare and manage budgets for warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Google Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
### Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in supply chain management or logistics.
- Experience with automated warehouse systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
### Working Conditions:
- The Warehouse Manager will primarily work in a warehouse environment.
- May require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
- Occasional travel may be required to visit other company locations or suppliers.
