Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile General Warehouse Associate for our client in Bloomfield, CT. This contract-to-direct position offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance and fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping and Receiving: Manage and process incoming and outgoing shipments. Verify and inspect goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery while maintaining precise documentation.

• Minor Assembly: Perform assembly tasks for desktop thermal printers, adhering to quality standards and ensuring functionality.

• Ink Filling Machine Operation: Operate and oversee the ink filling machine, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail to maintain product quality and operational efficiency.

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to assist with the movement and organization of inventory. Previous forklift experience is advantageous.

• General Warehouse Support: Assist with various warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory organization, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to handle minor assembly tasks with precision.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in operating machinery and managing inventory.
• Forklift experience is a plus; certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
• Reliable and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
