Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and Operate Equipment: Ensure our company equipment is running smoothly and efficiently, performing routine maintenance to keep everything up to our high standards.
- Engage with the Team: Regularly operate company machinery-like mini-excavators and skid steers-at various customer sites, working in tandem with our skilled team.
- Concrete Projects: Take the lead on concrete forming, pouring, and finishing, contributing to the foundation of our projects.
- Material Delivery: Transport and deliver supplies and inventory between our warehouses and project locations, ensuring our teams have what they need when they need it.
- Communicate Effectively: Facilitate seamless communication among field personnel, project managers, and warehouse staff to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Collaborate for Improvement: Work with management to continuously refine processes, enhancing our support to field personnel and optimizing warehouse operations.
- Promote a Safe Environment: Keep our warehouse and work sites clean, safe, and compliant with all safety regulations, contributing to a positive work culture.
- Assist with Special Projects: Take on various projects, from building maintenance to tool inspections, showcasing your diverse skill set and adaptability.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on both company and personnel-owned equipment.
- Identify and locate utilities, ensuring our projects are executed without a hitch.
- Use your skills to install and remove light and power poles, contributing to essential utility services.
- Operate excavators and skid steers for tasks like installing underground utilities and transformer pads.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Read blueprints and follow project scopes with precision.
- Possess a solid understanding of hydraulic, small engine, and electrical components.
- Communicate effectively and tactfully, explaining our operations to contractors and customers while promoting our company values.
- Demonstrate welding skills (Mig/Stick) and steel fabrication expertise.
- Show a strong background in concrete work.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in diesel and hydraulic repair
- Proficiency in welding
