Location Description Post Consumer Brands is proud to launch an all-new warehouse in Wilmer, TX (15 miles south of Dallas) to efficiently transport pet food, cereal, and all our products to store shelves. This air-conditioned facility will be over 1 million square feet and include all of the latest distribution technology to help deliver on PCB’s core purpose of making lives better by making delicious food accessible for all, including our furry friends! Responsibilities Post Consumer Brands is coming to Wilmer, Texas! We have a brand new 1.1 M square foot facility that will be opening late summer/early Fall. Why work at Post Consumer Brands? Sunday thru Wednesday Days - 6am to 4pm This position is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking and loading of product using powered mobile equipment. Expectations include: Safe operation of powered mobile equipment (forklift/clamp truck) Safe and accurate shipping and receiving of orders to and from our internal and external customers Actively participating in team meetings and training Verifying location, item and count through a Warehouse Management System. Evaluating quality of products ensuring they are shippable and taking necessary corrective action Optimizing loads to reduce damage and ensure ease of unloading at destination Accurately completing appropriate documentation Assisting with the sanitation of warehouse, understanding American Institute of Baking (AIB) requirements, and keeping the facility always audit ready Qualifications Qualifications: Ability to drive a forklift following successful completion of forklift certification Willingness to work a 10-hour shift (AM or PM) which may include weekends Ability to understand FIFO inventory methods and procedures Ability to read, write and speak English to understand shipping/receiving documents Basic math skills Ability to work overtime, if needed Ability to earn a Warehouse Management System certification HS Diploma or GED required Physical requirements Requires repetitive gripping, pinching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling with weight ranges of 0-60 lbs. Repetitive twisting, bending, and reaching of upper and lower extremities. Sustained trunk twisting Occasional climbing and walking activities Requires repetitive use of hands and feet bilaterally to operate hand controls and foot pedals on forklift/clamp truck.
