We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Production Lead to join our team!
Available Shifts: *Occasional weekends may be required based on business needs.
Perishables (Cold, freezer Goods) Department
2nd Shift – 4:00 PM – until completion
Tuesday - Friday & Sunday working days
The Warehouse Production Lead performs supervisory and other management responsibilities while performing production unloading assignments. Leads distribute unloading assignments to handlers and coordinate unloading activities. At the direction of the department manager. Leads manage the completion of administrative paperwork for reporting daily activity to the corporate office and have some responsibility for ensuring compliance with all FHI policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Adaptability and the ability to handle high-pressure situations are essential.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and customer service to meet customer demands.
- In a fast-paced environment, safely and efficiently unload tractor trailers delivering products to our distribution warehouses.
- Use a variety of forklifts to remove products from trailers.
- Break down pallets and restack cases onto new pallets – this is where the manual labor comes in!
- All other duties as assigned.
Please note this is not a travel position, and you should live local to the site.

Qualifications Required:
Education:
We believe that skills and experience are what truly matter. While education can be a valuable asset, it is not a strict requirement for success in this role.
Experience:
- Experience in managing and leading a team is essential.
- Requires a combination of leadership, organization, problem-solving, and technical skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the warehouse department.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders like suppliers and customers.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Good verbal/written communication skills.
- Willingness to work the required schedule.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English for effective communication.
- Basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Interact respectfully and courteously with associates, co-workers, management, and customers.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment:
- This position is designated as safety-sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Warehouse environment with extreme heat and cold temperatures.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday.
- Handle cases weighing from 25 to 95 pounds and can expect to handle between 50 and 200+ pallets on any given day.
- The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud work environments.
