About the Job
Receiving Specialist will systematically and physically receive inbound material. The Receiving Specialist must have a high attention to detail and an adherence to quality standards. They will be responsible for correctly performing transactions in our ERP and ensure that inventory is accurate to what is received in. You may be asked to complete the following tasks at the request of management that include but are not limited to the following.
Job Duties:
- Accurately receive inbound Purchase Orders into ERP
- Compare and inspect all paperwork that comes with shipments (COA, BOL, PO and packing list)
- Perform inspections on all inbound materials to ensure they meet quality standards
- Create labels for all received material
- Manage inbound dock appointments
- Assist warehouse with loading and unloading trucks
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and warehouse safety standards
- Ability to use scanners/handhelds/computers/printers
- Responsible for staging completed pallets in designated shipping areas
- Assist with LTL outbound appointments with logistics coordinator
- Create transfer Orders for 3PL
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year of work experience required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred. Ability to obtain certification upon hire is required.
Shift: 2nd - 3pm-11:30PM - OT mandatory and possible weekends.
