Warehouse - Returns Department Supervisor - GritR Sports

Returns Supervisors:

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Disciplinary Authority: Verbal, Written warning

GritR Sports is hiring a department Supervisor to oversee the Returns Department within our Warehouse. With a key component in ecommerce, product returns occur from immediate consumer returns, and in bulk from marketplace returns such as Amazon and Walmart. The Returns Department reviews, classifies and processes inventory based on it's origin and present conditions into brand new inventory, open box packaging or various used conditions for sales on Amazon and Ebay. 

The Returns Supervisor is expected to have a working and expert knowledge of all processes that occur in the department, the ability to run reports and provide KPI updates on their department's progress, as well as direct the labor of the team on a daily basis. 

Expectations/ responsibilities:

1. Expert Knowledge of all Returns processes

2. Up keep of Returns metrics up to Manager
3. Continual organization of different locations within department
4. Continual Communication between team members and Management 
5. Returns department inventory management
   1. Open box cycle counts - Completed once a month
   2. VRA item life of less than 2 weeks- coordinate with VRA lead
   3. DWOFF/IA Shelf is cleared daily
   4. Receivingdock_6 cleared daily
   5. Transfer Order delivered packages to be received within 24 hours
6. Continues communication with VRA team lead on VRA status
7. Daily Team Management to specific tasks
8. Maintaining KPI deadlines for various return categories
9. Establish metrics, SOPs, and criteria for item destinations
