A Day in the Life
In this role as a Shipping/Receiving Lead, you will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and other warehouse functions for our Billerica and Bedford manufacturing sites and supporting team members in daily operations. You'll be facilitating the shipment of the most advanced cardiac ablation technology on the market!Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
- Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
- Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
- Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
- (un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
- Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
Nice to Have
- Prior SAP experience highly preferred.
- Experience in a high volume medical device manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience as a warehouse team lead.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$48,000.00 - $72,000.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The starting base rate of pay for this position and location is $30.50 per hour. The base rate is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
